The Gersh Externship is an exclusive and unique opportunity for a select group of students from across the nation to gain firsthand exposure to discover the world of an Agency and working at Gersh. This is a highly interactive and remote program over Zoom where you will learn from Gersh leadership, agents, and assistants across multiple disciplines including: Talent, Motion Picture & TV Literary, Digital, Below the Line, Theatre, Books, Global Branding and Conventions, Alternative, and Sports.

Program Details
- Externs will attend 2 sessions per week (90 minutes per session), for 6 weeks during the fall semester over Zoom.
- The externship is unpaid, as this is a strictly learning and networking opportunity. There is no cost for students to participate in this remote program.
- Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.

Student Requirements
- Must be an active undergrad or graduate student attending a college/university in the United States.
- Interested in pursuing a career in entertainment and representation.
- Prior experience in media and entertainment.
- Industry internship experience preferred but not required.

- Week 2: Tuesday 10/14 & Thursday 10/16
- Week 3: Tuesday 10/21 & Thursday 10/23
- Week 4: Tuesday 10/28 & Thursday 10/30
- Week 5: Tuesday 11/4 & Thursday 11/6
- Week 6: Tuesday 11/11 & Thursday 11/13
Recruitment Timeline
- Applications are open from Friday, 9/19/2025 to Wednesday, 9/24/2025 at 11:59pm PST.
- Round 1 interviews - Gersh has partnered with allUP, a virtual interview platform where candidates can record their virtual interviews. Selected candidates will be prompted to upload their virtual interviews Thursday, 9/25/2025 through Tuesday, 9/30/2025.
- Round 2 interviews - Finalists will be invited to a live virtual interview Wednesday, 10/1/2025 through Monday, 10/6/2025.
